Eating Disorder Recovery

Recovery is possible and you deserve it

Healing your relationship with food and your body is some of the most courageous work you can do. I offer a compassionate, non-judgmental space to support you through every stage of recovery.

Eating disorders are rarely just about food. They're about control, safety, identity, and often a deep sense of not being enough. Recovery asks you to let go of the thing that has helped you cope. That takes tremendous bravery and support.

In our work together, I approach eating disorder recovery with gentleness and honesty. I won't rush you or push you faster than you're ready to go. But I also won't shy away from the hard conversations. We'll explore what the eating disorder has been protecting you from, and we'll work on building new ways to meet those underlying needs.

Somatic therapy is particularly powerful in this work because eating disorders are deeply connected to how you experience your body. Learning to listen to your body, rather than override it, is often a pivotal part of recovery. I work collaboratively with your treatment team, including nutritionists and medical providers, to make sure you're supported from every angle.

What This Looks Like

How we'll work together

01

Creating Safety

The first priority is building a relationship where you feel safe enough to be honest about the behaviors, the thoughts, and the feelings underneath.
02

Understanding the Function

We'll explore what role the eating disorder has played in your life, what it's been protecting you from and what needs it's been meeting.
03

Rebuilding Your Relationship

Gradually, you'll develop a new relationship with food, your body, and yourself — one rooted in care rather than control.
