If you have ADHD, you've probably spent a lot of energy trying to fit into systems that weren't designed for you. Maybe you've been called lazy, scattered, or "not living up to your potential." And over time, those messages become the voice in your own head.
Therapy for ADHD isn't about forcing yourself to be more organized or disciplined. It's about understanding how your brain actually works, the strengths and the challenges, and building strategies that are realistic for you, not for some idealized version of you. It's also about processing the emotional weight that often comes with ADHD: the shame, the frustration, and the grief over time lost trying to be someone you're not.
I particularly enjoy working with neurodiverse clients because the work is so human. We'll look at how ADHD shows up in your relationships, your work, and your sense of self. And we'll use a combination of talk therapy and somatic awareness to help you feel more grounded, more self-compassionate, and more connected to who you actually are.
