You might already understand your patterns intellectually. You can name the anxiety, explain the triggers, trace it back to childhood. And yet nothing seems to fully shift. That's because some experiences live in the body, not just the mind. Somatic therapy bridges that gap.
In our sessions, I pay close attention to what's happening physically as you talk: the tension in your shoulders, the way your breathing changes, the moments when you seem to leave the room even though you're still sitting in front of me. These signals are incredibly valuable. They tell us things that words often can't.
This isn't about physical touch. It's about building awareness of what your body is holding and learning to be present with it. Over time, that awareness creates space. Space to process old pain, release chronic tension, and reconnect with a sense of groundedness that you may not have felt in a long time. Somatic therapy paired with talk therapy is one of the most powerful combinations I offer.
